Outdoor advertising powerfully proactive
Issued by: Clear Channel

Clear Channel Outdoor, along with all other OHMSA members, are contributing positively and proactively to the massive power shortages by installing timer switches on all their illuminated outdoor advertising structures (excluding airport and scrolling sites).

The illumination will shut down from 1am to 5am in the morning when most consumers are asleep at home.

“The state of emergency necessitates that we all share the load,” states Bazil Lauryssen, Managing Director of Clear Channel Outdoor and Chairman of OHMSA. “The lights out period will not have an impact on the reach of any campaign, as Outdoor Advertising is a frequency medium,” he continues.
