Creating e-learning content is about to be made a whole lot easier in the Southern African Region. New online learning deal for SA

As data speeds improve in the region, new opportunities are being offered through cloud based international solutions which could radically change the local dynamics of online learning altogether.

"We are very proud to announce that LA Intronet (Pty) Ltd will be Easygenerator's value added e-learning software partner for the Southern African region" says Kasper Spiro, CEO of Netherlands-based Easygenerator.

LA Intronet (Pty) Ltd are Adaptive Learning and Placement specialists based in Sandton, Johannesburg.

Paul Hanly, managing director of LA Intronet (Pty) Ltd says "We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with a company such as Easygenerator. They provide the only software that creates content to fully integrate into a truly adaptive learning environment. Easygenerator provides an online authoring system that can be accessed from anywhere. As Easygenerator partners we can provide our clients with a mobile product that is very easy to use, permanently up to date and always on the cutting edge of technology. It adds great value to other products that we represent"

    Easy to use

Easygenerator is a user-friendly, easy to use content authoring tool utilised to develop content for e-learning projects without the need for the user to have comprehensive IT skills.

With Easygenerator, content designers can very simply construct interesting didactics into the instructional resource development process and accommodate adaptive learning objectives at the same time. This can then be converted into Shareable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM), the international on line content language and used in any Learner Content Management System (LCMS). This makes it easy to ensure that the learner is directed to course content relevant to their knowledge level and that they are not given lesson modules above or below their skills set.

Hanly comments "Using this technology, especially in conjunction with the revolutionary aNewSpring Adaptive learning Platform, which LA Intronet also provides, will allow trainers to create bespoke adaptive courses very simply and will largely allow end user companies to develop, deliver and manage content without the need for expensive consultants"

Hanly concludes "This technology coupled to the adaptive learning concept has the potential to drastically change the shape of e learning in Southern Africa"
"This is an exciting development" says Spiro. "Southern Africa is a very interesting market to us and a great emerging market for e learning solutions in general.
Mobile is relatively big in Africa and its growth is exponential. We believe that Easygenerator is the right solution for this market and we are very proud that LA Intronet (Pty) Ltd came to the same conclusion".
