ArcelorMittal SA climbs to highest levels since Sept 2012

Market sentiment towards SA's biggest steel producer continues to improve and Monday's gain takes the share's rise to 85% from its 2013 low of R22.60 on April 29‚ and put it at its highest levels since September 2012.

The company - which earlier this month reported improved quarterly results and concluded a new iron-ore supply agreement with Kumba Iron Ore (KIO) - has gained about 13% this month.

At 12.24pm‚ Amsa was up 3.04% to R44.75‚ giving the company a market value of R19.947bn.
