'Ice God' confirms Kaya FM slot

Those who love him call him the ‘Ice God' or the ‘Morning God' while those who don't like him would rather say that his voice is irritating and that he is overrated… Just-Ice Ramohlola has confirmed that he is joining Kaya FM after being absent from the airwaves for quite a while now.

The Alexandra born DJ says his new show in the heart and soul of Jozi will start on 12 January 2008 when he will be hosting the Saturday breakfast show and Sunday lunchtime show on Kaya FM.

Ramohlola says that he is very excited to be joining Kaya FM, “I am looking forward to having fun while doing something that I enjoy the most,” he says . He will be working on weekends for the next three months till his initial contract with the station is reviewed.

Last week Bizcommunity.com broke the news that Ramohlola will be joining Kaya FM following last week's speculation that the former Metro FM DJ could be on his way to Newtown to fill the post that Pat ‘Cash' Maloyi vacated in November last year.

Just-Ice was tipped to return to Metro FM but negotiations failed.
