When contacted today, Friday 28 December 2007, Ramohlola did not want to confirm nor deny his new posting. He said he would be ready to comment early in the new year.
Kaya FM announced in November "with sadness" that “Live & Switched On” presenter Pat “Cash” Maloyi was leaving the station after a two year stay with the popular Joburg breakfast team.
Kaya FM MD Charlene Deacon said at the time: “We've gone through some interesting changes this year and we are extremely sad to be losing a member of our family who has had such an impact on the radio station, however we wish him luck and success in his new endeavours.”
Live & Switched On has continued between 6am and 9am on weekdays with Jeff Moloi (sport), Stevie B (business news), Thando Mkhize (traffic) and Nomzamo Khumalo (news). The show has enjoyed excellent growth over the past two years since launching in February 2005, according to Kaya FM.
