London leaves 702, CapeTalk

Radio presenter Tom London will be leaving Talk Radio 702 and 567 CapeTalk at the end of December 2007 to pursue other opportunities, the stations announced yesterday, 22 November 2007. A replacement has not yet been appointed.

London joined Talk Radio 702 in 2001 as an overnight presenter and a few years later began hosting his own show each night between 9pm and 12 midnight, simulcast on 567 CapeTalk.

Said station manager Pheladi Gwangwa, “Tom has been a valuable asset to the station and is well-liked by the listeners. He has contributed to the success of the station and has always been a pleasure to work with. However, we understand he needs to pursue other interests. We wish him all the luck in his endeavours.”
