On Friday 27 December, it is in Newcastle for the Amcor Dam Music Festival. Act include Zahara; Naima Kay; Donald; Sfiso Ncwane; Bucie; Big Nuz; Shota; L'vovo; Teargas; DJ Tira; DJ Nzwiri; DJ Happy Gal; DJ Cndo; DJ Websta; King Sfiso; DJ 15; DJ Bongs; DJ Siyanda; DJ Vumar; DJ Merlon; DJ Mtoffy; DJ KRBEE; DJ Nhlaks with MC's: Pearl Thusi (SABC 1 - LIVE), DJ OROS, Mzokoloko (Gagasi 99.5) and Tha Nontandakubukwa. Tickets are R160 at Computicket or R180 at the door, with limited R500 VIP tickets.
New Year's Eve is at Pietermaritzburg's Golden Horse Casino with DJs Mzolkoloko, DJ Vuma, King Sfiso and DJ Lab. Also included in the line-up are top local music artists Tira and Big Nuz as well as an exclusive performance by Mi Casa. Ticket from Computicket at a cost of R150. Doors open at 1400 and will go right through until 0200.
In between all the parties and the Shisa Nyama events, the station will also be doing something to make a difference, be it contributing food, toys, assisting in revamping homes or making a difference to the aged or disadvantaged kids and encouraging listeners to get involved.
