“This new refurbishment will complement previous upgrades to the rooms done three years ago,” explains Danny Bryer, director of sales, marketing and revenue management at Protea Hotels. “This time our focus is on the public areas of the hotel - the restaurant and reception area.
“The refurbishment will have no impact on the guest experience or on these facilities, which will remain open to guests throughout; the work will be completed at the end of July.”
Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve is a haven for animal-lovers looking for a safari experience in one of the hotel’s own open game drive vehicles. Guests can interact with elephants and cheetahs, take a trip to a reptile park, and visit the beaches and marine life of Cape Vidal and Sodwana Bay or take a boat cruise in St Lucia.
