Emirates will be holding its Cabin Crew Assessment Day on 27 September 2014 in Cape Town.

Applicants are encouraged to register online at www.emirates.com, prior to the Assessment Day, where pre-selection events will be conducted in conjunction with Emirates' appointed agency, iCrew.

Shortlisted applicants will then be sent invitations with venue details, to attend the Assessment Day.

During the Assessment Day, shortlisted applicants are provided the opportunity to explore their dream job and learn about living in cosmopolitan Dubai. Candidates will also be able to learn about the requirements for the cabin crew position as well as growth and training opportunities.

Ab Initio training

Successful candidates will undergo seven weeks of Ab Initio training in a dedicated state-of-the-art Cabin Crew training facility at the Emirates Aviation College. Full motion simulators are also used for practical training to ensure realistic learning conditions and experience to deliver the finest service in the sky as part of the Emirates Cabin Crew team.

Fouad Caunhye, regional manager, Emirates southern Africa said: "Emirates has been investing in new aircraft and is currently the world's largest operator of the B777s as well as the A380. To match this investment in fleet, we are looking at similarly high-performing candidates to deliver Emirates 'Hello Tomorrow' brand promise - global connectivity and meaningful experiences."
