The iPad is cool - the Galaxy is not

British judge, Colin Birss has ruled that the Samsung Galaxy devices could be sold in the UK because they were "not as cool as iPads" and consequently did not infringe Apple's patents, News24 reports.
Samsung has welcomed the judgment. However, in the United States, an appeal court has rejected Samsung's bid to overturn a ban on sales of the Galaxy Nexus smartphones that were to be sold in collaboration with Google, which means the Galaxy Nexus is not available to US consumers.
