The minister is also encouraging South Africans to send through their tips on how inclusive growth can be achieved and how it can reduce unemployment, poverty and inequality.

Gordhan will present the 2013 Budget to Parliament on 27 February at 1400.

Tips to the minister can be sent to Private Bag X115 Pretoria 0001; they can also be sent via the National Treasury website: www.treasury.gov.za. The public can also fax their tips to 012 315 5126 or via Facebook on Pravin Gordhan's fan page/National Treasury South Africa.

The budget tips campaign is run throughout the year and it also ensures active participation in government programmes especially on matters related to South Africa's economy.

Regarding the Tax. SARS should NOT tax replaced "stolen goods", once a Police case of theft has been opened then SARS should not Tax the individual or Company Vat on the replaced items. this will affect SARS income BUT it will force them to curb the crime via the SAPS. They are criminal in being paid VAT on Stolen Goods. Wayne Posted on 23 Jan 2013 17:30
