This event is one of the premier agribusiness networking opportunities where business leaders and policy makers meet to shape the future of the South African agribusiness industry.
Students will be divided into four teams, each team receiving the same case concerning the situation of a real company to address. The teams will be given limited time to analyse the business case and to propose business-oriented solutions.
The teams will present their proposals to a panel of judges and the two finalist teams will be announced at the welcoming event of the Agbiz Congress the same evening. The finalists will present their cases at the congress to an audience of 200 agribusiness professionals, senior managers and policy makers, who will vote for the best team. The winning team will announced at the gala dinner of the congress on 28 August.

"Some of the most talented students who were involved in the Student Case Competition at the Agbiz Congress held in 2012, were recruited by agribusinesses and industry organisations on completion of their studies."
