Toyota Corollas to be auctioned by Burchmore's

Burchmore's has acquired a consignment of Toyota Corollas - which are like gold amongst used car buyers. "No car is more sought-after amongst second-hand car buyers," explains Les Cox, dealer principal at Burchmore's in Sandton.
Cox knows the Toyota brand extremely well, having served as general manager and subsequently director of McCarthy Toyota Sinoville from 1994 until the end of 2010. "These C segment sedans are the darlings of new and used car buyers alike. In fact, they are the country's and the world's favourite cars," he says.

Challenge is availability

It's a firm favourite amongst used car buyers too. "South Africans adore the Corolla because it's an extremely reliable vehicle that will never ever let you down," notes Cox.

But the challenge is always availability. "When we get a used Corolla, it is always snapped up in record time. Demand consistently exceeds supply," says Darryl Jacobson, managing director of Burchmore's.

A consignment of 100 Corollas - a mix of 1.3 and 1.6-litre derivatives - will fall under the hammer at Burchmore's in Sandton on Saturday, 2 June. "They are all low mileage and mostly under warranty. Customers will be able to view the vehicles on our website and also at our premises the day before the auction," comments Jacobson.

No doubt that corolla is a reliable vehicle because many people really like this simple car and they also like the old ones in order for them to have an opportunity to customize it. It would be very nice if they will also auction some rare and genuine parts for toyota corolla, corolla fans wants this kind of event. Like me i own a corolla and i really really like to buy and review some good corolla parts. Posted on 1 Sep 2012 05:10
