According to Luis Augusto Garcia Rosado, Minister of Tourism for the Mexican state of Campeche, says the government will release codices, artifacts and "significant documents" that contain evidence of the contact between Mayans and extra-terrestrials. The evidence is being corroborated by archaeologists.
The Mexican ministry has indicated that there is evidence of "landing pads in the jungle that are at least 3 000 years old" and it is also releasing state-held secrets that have been locked in underground vaults for more than 80 years.
The new documentary, entitled "Revelations of the Mayans 2012 and Beyond" is being produced by Raul Julia-Levy. At a site in Calakmul, workers for the National Institute of Anthropology and History have discovered various rooms inside the pyramid that have not been seen or explored before. These rooms will be filmed.
It is also being given access to never-before-seen locations in Guatemala. The film will be released before 21 December 2012, the mystical end to the Mayan calendar that has had millions of people forecasting the end of the world.
