Portugal. The Man to play at Sowing the Seeds and Kirstenbosch

American rock band Portugal. The Man will be performing for one night only in Cape Town at Kirstenbosch Gardens on Friday, 20 March before opening for headliner Paolo Nutini at the Sowing the Seeds Music Festival at Emmarentia Dam on 21 March, 2015.

Portugal. The Man's latest album, 'Evil Friends', was produced by Danger Mouse, the five-time Grammy Award-winning producer behind everything from Gnarls Barkley and Beck to The Black Keys and now U2, and features melodic tracks like Modern Jesus and anthems like Smile. Each track on 'Evil Friends' is as different from the next as Portugal. The Man's previous records were from each other, which is to say a piece of a growing mindscape, and wholly a part of the group's tumbling fever dream.
