Vodacom Open The City finalists selected

The four finalists for Vodacom Open The City have now been chosen by the judging panel. They are: PH Fat, The Kiffness, The Plastics, and Bye Beneco. Vodacom is now giving the power to music fans to decide which one of the four will be named Open The City winner and share the stage with Vodacom In The City's international acts: Rudimental, MGMT, Crystal Fighters and The Presets.

Public voting has opened and there are two ways to vote for the band you want to Open The City on 3 October:

Go to www.vitc-competitions.co.za and click to vote for your band (make sure you read the Ts&Cs)
SMS the band's name to 48477. (Standard SMS rates apply, follow the link in the reply SMS for Ts&Cs)

Those who vote before the end of August will stand the chance to see the finalists compete in an exclusive event on 5 September at the Open The City Session gig at Town Hall, Newtown.

Space at the Open The City Session is limited - But Vodacom is giving fans the chance to win two tickets to the gig simply by voting. Secure your spot at the front of the stage and get voting via www.VITC.co.za and SMS.

Plus, if you have your photo taken at the Open The City Session at one of the Vodacom booths, you could win a chance to be on the exclusive Vodacom VIP Deck at Vodacom In The City. More details at www.vitc-competitions.co.za

Voting closes on at midnight on 12 September and the winning band, the one that receives the most votes, will be announced on 17 September.
