Internet Solutions goes sponsorship 'crazy'

Now IS is providing the infrastructure for the online activities of The Crazy Monkey movie, which is due for release by Ster Kinekor in August this year, as taken from the locally produced 'Crazy Monkey' series of funny MTV inserts, that has been circulating the globe for the past three years.

The Crazy Monkey team is sponsored by IS' founder, Ronnie Apteker, who met Brendan Jack, the lead actor in the film and one of the founders and screenplay writers of the Crazy Monkey, doing stand-up comedy in 2002 during the time of Laugh Out Loud. There was an instant connection and a fruitful relationship followed. The end result is a wonderful collaboration of high-tech wizards, entrepreneurs and artists.

IS helped the Crazy Monkey team in more then just a high-tech way - in the final climax of the movie, a number of IS faces can seen in the 'Snuggery' bar scene in Benoni. Even IS' CEO, Angus MacRobert, got roped in for the antics.
