Openfield impresses judging panel at the Discovery Sport Industry Awards 2014

The who's who of South African sport celebrated in style at the annual Discovery Sport Industry Awards which took place at the Sandton Convention Centre on Thursday, 13 February 2014.
Award-winning work across the business of sport was acknowledged and rewarded in various categories.

Openfield was shortlisted amongst five other sponsorship agencies across South Africa and whilst there could only be one winner of the Sponsorship Agency of the Year title, the young dynamic agency received a special mention from the judging panel after Playmakers Sponsorship took the title.

Sport Industry Group, MD, James Monteith said: "The judges were exceptionally impressed with Openfield's rapid growth in a relatively short space of time, but more impressive was the vision and ethos towards sponsorship strategy that the company has."

This particular category was extremely tough for the judges and they were very impressed with some of the work produced over the past year including overall company performance.
