Former Miss SA launches auditions for undiscovered talent

Former Miss South Africa, Joan Ramagoshi, is giving undiscovered talent the chance to perform at a Women's Day event next month.

Ramagoshi will be holding auditions for her third 'Women...The Real Architects of Society' event. The event, featuring well known speakers and covering topics from business to nutrition, is set to attract over 500 up and coming South African women.

Johannesburg auditions will be held on 19 and 20 July at Baseline and on 27 and 28 July 2013 at the State Theatre in Pretoria. These auditions are open to aspiring musicians, bands, dancers and fashion designers who would like the opportunity to showcase their talents to a large audience.

"Through this event I aim to give women the opportunity to enter into a conversation with myself and the guest speakers on issues that are important to them. By auditioning fresh, undiscovered talent I am also able to give new musicians, designers and dancers the opportunity to perform for a large, influential audience," says the former Miss SA.

"In addition to this exposure, I will continue to invest in the performers long after the event by assisting them with further tuition and other opportunities to help them realise their dreams," she adds.

'Women...The Real Architects Of Society' aims to motivate and encourage progressive transformation in an atmosphere where women can learn, network and make new friends while having fun and celebrating womanhood.

Ramagoshi has carefully crafted the arrangement and creative objectives of the event to best cover all aspects of a woman's dynamic life.

'Women...The Real Architects of Society' will be held on 24 August at Vodaworld.
