Already in its 16th year, this unique wine competition is held annually in celebration of South African wine and seeks to recognise and reward wines of elegance, balance, finesse, ability to age and sense of place.
Following the time honoured model of small Bordeaux producers in France, winner of the red blends category, The High Road prefers to sell its wines directly to consumers through its wine club as well as selected specialist wine shops, restaurants and special interest groups. The wine sells for R110 per bottle at the cellar door, with wine club members receiving 20% off.
