The group acquired local bakeries and upgraded the process technology at these bakeries to produce a top quality loaf. The bread will be marketed under the Blue Ribbon brand and Premier has gained listings in all major retail chains.
As part of its strategy of growing within the community, the public has been invited to come and share a Blue Ribbon sandwich at consumer taste test activations in East London and King Williams Town - for every taste test sandwich made, a sandwich will be donated to the King Williams Town Child & Youth Care Centre.
The event takes place on Friday 12 September at 27 Brill Street, Arcadia in East London and on Saturday 13 September at 11 Hargreaves Road in King Williams Town.
