The doors to the new Dihlabeng Mall in Bethlehem are on track to open for the Easter weekend, on Thursday 28 March 2012. The offering will include national retailers such as Game, Checkers, Pick n Pay, Truworths, Foschini, Edgars and various independent outlets, bringing together a modern and comprehensive one-stop shopping environment.
The contemporary new mall is set to provide convenient, everyday shopping with easy access from the N5 and Paul Laesecke Avenue. The location has strong visibility, access and magnificent natural beauty. With views of the majestic Rooiberg Mountain, it was designed to maximise its unique setting in the heart of the tranquil farming community and next to the popular Frontier casino. This location will increase its popularity in the area more in years to come.

The architecture is modern in nature and a warm and inviting environment has been created using various natural building materials such as rock and sandstone. Parking will be available for 1700 vehicles and the centre also provides a drop-off facility for taxis. The shopping centre was also designed for a smooth flow of traffic inside, allowing its visitors to move through the mall with great ease.

The community is set to benefit from the variety and economic upliftment of this retail outlet. It will boost employment by providing various job opportunities for shop assistants, packers, cleaners and store managers to local residents at one of the 50 retail outlets, once operational.
