Men face up to better health

27 Mar 2009 06:58Submit a commentBizLike
The scruffy-looking macho man who baths twice a week (on a good week) is a thing of the past — thank goodness. Today's men wear pink shirts, have regular manicures and know what skin type they have.
Da Vinci cosmetics has pledged to help them on their journey to better health, beginning with their skin. Da Vinci face treatment masks for men will complement the modern man's good skin routine of cleansing, toning and conditioning.

The masks will renew tired and dull skin that has been ravaged by the harsh South African heat. Through regular use, skin will look younger, pores will be reduced and blackheads will disappear.

The range of masks includes:
• Da Vinci Peel-Off Mask, which is formulated to rescue clogged skin by unclogging pores and eliminating grime;
• Sauna Mask, which is claimed to deep cleanse and help to relieve stress;
• Mud Mask, which is formulated to de-stress, deep cleanse and moisturise skin; and
• Hydrating Mask, which is designed to revive tired skin by freshening and hydrating.

Men are also encouraged to use the Da Vinci Clogged Pore Strips in conjunction with the masks to strengthen the fight against clogged pores, blackheads and oiliness.

The entire range can be bought for less than R100 an item from Dis-Chem, so men officially have no excuse for having bad skin.
