VW to hold music festival for new Polo Vivo

Volkswagen will hold the #VIVOnation Festival in celebration of the launch of the new Polo Vivo. The music festival will be held from 10 -11 March 2018 at The Container Yard in downtown Johannesburg and will offer South African music, street art, fashion, food, and the new Polo Vivo.

Hundreds of massive containers will be repurposed to create a festival experience of stages, live music, a bespoke autocross track, activations, incredible car and light displays and world-class technology.

Cassper Nyovest will headline both days; having recently performed to 72,000 people at FNB Stadium. DJ Doowap’s fans can expect her signature hip-hop, trap, grime, gqom, and bass beats. Durban’s Babes Wodumo, the 23-year old MTV European Music Awards nominee who shot to stardom with her hit song Wololo, will also perform at the festival. Mampintsha and Ntando Duma will be joining her on stage to perform their hit Jiva Phez'kombhede.

The Kiffness will feature SAMA-nominated singer/songwriter Mathew Gold as part of their set.

Completing the line-up is Durban’s singer-songwriter Kyle Deutsch, chart-topping vocalist Shekhinah, Mamelodi’s songstress Lady Zamar, hip-hop rapper Kwesta, award-winning house duo Black Motion, and Gold selling songwriter, producer, and DJ TIMO ODV.
