The after-party area will feature fully stocked bars, a food court area with artisan food vendors, a cocktail and lounge area for relaxing and sipping on something refreshing to keep you hydrated on the dance floor and a massive dance floor and sound system to keep the party going into the night, most importantly in a highly secured environment.
The dress code this year honours the long-term Met sponsor, J&B, and is 'A Rare Blend'; an opportunity to express individuality and creativity; however all dress codes are welcome.
The FlipSide moment is going to take place during the course of the after-party also and is something to watch out for - this moment is set to become the FlipSide's trademark and will kick the party into high gear in a totally unexpected way.
Tickets are available from Computicket at for R495 for a full day and night pass that includes all of the above all day long and well into the after-party, or R250 just for the after-party. Tickets include three free whiskeys plus mixers per person.
