Set in a Constantiaberg Winelands vineyard, FrenchSunset will offer everyone not just a picnic experience, but entertainment in the form of live poetry, stand-up comedy, DJs, and a jazz band, while capping the evening off with an outdoor French short movie projection with subtitles. This blue-white-and-red-themed picnic invites ticketholders to dress in these colours and help create an ambiance that lends towards the FrenchSunset theme.
FrenchSunset will be hosted by Cape Town comedian Siv Ngesi and promoter Didier Moestus. Ngesi will also entertain ticketholders with a trademark stand-up comedy set. Music will be provided by the French Embassy Trio and Sylvestre Kabassidi, and DJs Didier Moestus and DJ Ozy from La French Connection.
Attendees will receive a gift basket comprising a bottle of premium SA wine, some of the finest SA cheeses and traditional French crepes on arrival and a lucky draw with prizes by Lacoste, Cafe Coton, House of Monatic, La Grenadine Petit Hotel, Desert Rose Beauty Salon and more.
Patrons are encouraged to bring along picnic baskets with treats for dinner after sunset or pre-purchase one from the website.
