First EFC heavyweight title fight

14 Sep 2010 08:33Submit a commentBizLike
EFC, the Extreme Fighting Championship, which showcases the mixed martial arts fighters, will be holding its first heavyweight title fight on 21 October, 2010, at the Coca-Cola Dome, Johannesburg.
Each EFC Africa live event is of three-hours' duration and features at least 12 bouts. The events are hosted locally every two months.

Every event is backed by a comprehensive advertising and marketing campaign and is further enhanced by ongoing mainstream television productions. Through media coverage spanning event billboards, publicity campaigns, the EFC Africa website, event guides, magazines, full TV coverage of the event, and media partnerships, EFC Africa promotes extreme fighting and associated brands and gives them access to this popular and rapidly growing market.

Africa's top fighters

EFC Africa has signed over 45 of the continent's top professional fighters. These athletes are contracted exclusively to EFC Africa and are available as ambassadors for EFC Africa and associated sponsors' brands, providing targeted branding opportunities.

Each EFC Africa event is filmed by a nine-camera TV production team. The footage from each event is edited into four 52-minute TV programmes, which air for a period of eight weeks.
