Vida comes to Grand Daddy

The Café at The Grand Daddy Hotel in Cape Town has incorporated a Vida installation within the hotel serving the full range of Vida coffees as well as some of their eats. It will be serving from 6am to 11pm.
The playful Daddy hospitality group was pleased to incorporate Vida's vibey coffee culture into the hotel's restaurant space through the creation of a Vida “bar”, complete with Vida barrista to service The Café's coffee needs.

Take-away

Local office workers can also pop down and get themselves a take-away at the new outlet. The Café continues to serve three meals a day and has a full wine list. The coffee is the only coffee served in the hotel and is also available by room service.

Grand Daddy owner, Jody Aufrichtig, said: “We recognised an opportunity for great synergy with Vida. Not only are we now serving excellent coffee, but we have also brought in a little bit of one of South Africa's most energetic companies. Like us they enjoy creativity, humour and a quality product.”

Off-beat creativity

Vida director Grant Dutton agreed: “Our decision to open an installation at The Grand Daddy was really based on an affinity with their identity. They are tirelessly reinventing the hotel scene and we love their off-beat creativity.”

As an added bonus, the Vida installation keeps the same hours as The Café - meaning you can get your cuppa from 6am to 11pm.
