Boat shoes back in

11 Nov 2009 07:16Submit a commentBizLike
Boats shoes, typically leather or suede, originally manufactured with rubber soles, are back this summer, and if you're a fashion forward metro male you'll not want to be caught out without a pair.
Paul Sperry designed the first pair of boat shoes in 1935 and the modern boat shoe has since become a popular favourite for men all over the world. This year, boat shoes have been reborn with the nautical look making a strong comeback this summer.

Taking inspiration from Milan fashion week, signature styles for boat shoes include tri-colours or leather. Hailed as the “must have” shoe for men, boat shoes look best paired with striped T-shirts, white linen pants and cool summer shorts.

Bronx footwear has recently launched its new summer collection - this season's boat shoes includes a variety of colours and styles perfectly tailored for the South African man. Bronx boats shoes are available at Jordan Footwear.
