At the end of this month, Jack Parow will release his gevaarlike Live DVD: Welcome to Parowdise. It contains live tunes, behind-the-scenes footage and all his music videos.

As Parow said: "Welcome to Parowdise is a journey through the last four years of my dangerous life: From Russia to Holland, England to Elsies River; it's all in here. Backstage danger, onstage madness, planes to speedboats, drunk to more drunk and all my crazy fans and friends mixed in live shows that were filmed at Oppikoppi, Hatfield Square and The Assembly; interviews in my bathrobe and all my music videos with subtitles.

The Oppikoppi

Jack Parow will be forming part of the line-up at this year's Oppikoppi music festival. Although the festival's organisers have popular acts like Parow play only every two years, Oppikoppi is a festival that is always a highlight for the Afrikaans rap star. He made a personal request to be part of the 2013 edition. This year promises to be the biggest yet, with fellow Bellville alumni Fokofpolisiekar, celebrating their 10-year anniversary and massive US act the Deftones headlining.

Parow explained that Oppikoppi isn't a concert or a "music festival" but an unstoppable cultural phenomenon. "They're the most hard core, dedicated fans in the country. I just had to be a part of the madness this year," he said.

Hier kom nou groot k*k!

It's the future and Jack Parow is here to save us, by travelling back in time from 2213. He may be a rap god now, but in 2213 Parow lives the life of a scumbag, unable to get a job or do much else to impress his father.

Jack Parow in conjunction with his chommies, Dojo 115, Watkykjy, Cactus Jack, Puma, Ray-Ban and Rolling Stone have started to unleash the next-level comic book series, Jack Parow - Hier kom nou kak.

Keep an eye on http://www.jackparow.com/comic.html every week to see how Parow digs his grave deeper.
