IMC Conference Cape Town announces first set of dynamic speakers and workshops

With a unique and diverse blend of talented industry speakers that include some of the most prestigious names in the business, the 4th IMC Conference to be hosted in Cape Town at the International Convention Centre is set to challenge core facets of various marketing and communication disciplines and inspire conversation.
With only two months to go before the commencement of this anticipated marketing event on 10 and 11 June 2013, this mix of some of the most innovative industry leaders has been hand-picked to deliver the finest cross-section of relevant content to significantly impact any business's marketing and communication strategy. Speakers will provide delegates with first-hand, case-study exposure to the most innovative IMC trends, highlighting aspects of their most successful campaigns.

Speakers include:

Ahmed Tilly (Executive Creative Director at Black River FC):

Voted by his peers as one of the top six creative directors in the country, Ahmed has been a regular judge at the Loerie Awards, received South Africa's first Silver Nomination in the D&AD, and has won a Cannes Lions and several Loerie Awards amongst others. In 2012, his agency won the coveted Grand Prix for film at the Loeries as well as the rare Black Eagle at the Eagle Print Awards.

Nicholas Haralambous (Mobile Entrepreneur and GM at Lodestone Mobile Consulting):

A top international and local speaker on digital trends, Nicolas was selected by Mail & Guardian as one of the 200 young South Africans to take to lunch. He featured on GQ's list of top 30 men in media and was also a finalist in Men's Health Best Men Awards in 2010. The company he co-founded, Motribe, was last year named by Forbes as one of Africa's top 20 startups.

Sizakele Marutlulle (Chief Marketing Officer at ABSA Group):

With an impressive 19 years of experience in brand communication, advertising and business strategy in South Africa and the US, Sizakele's passion for business reform, brand revival and change management has carried her career across the globe to New York and back to South Africa, while working with some of the world's finest advertising agencies.

Rebecca Cronje (Head of Strategy at Atmosphere Communications):

Having been in the PR game for 10 years and currently managing South Africa's fastest growing retail bank, Capitec, as well as global brand, Virgin, Rebecca keeps her finger on the pulse on the latest macro trends, new online innovation, consumer insight and industry sea-change in her position as Head of Strategy.

Xolisa Dyeshana (Executive Creative Director and partner at Joe Public):

After being named one of the 'Top 6 People to watch in Advertising' by Finweek, Xolisa went on to become the second South African ever to judge the John Caples Awards in New York in 2008. He also judged at the Cannes Lions in 2011 and named a "Game Changer" in Jeremy Maggs' The Annual in the same year. His passion in creativity is evident in the accolades he's received, including Gold Loerie Awards, Cannes Lions Finalists and Gold International Young Gun Awards to name a few, as well as the coveted "Financial Mail Advertising Agency Of The Year Award" with Joe Public in 2012.
