EXP, together with client MTN, won the award for the Best Integrated Sport Marketing Campaign for their work on the MTN8 football tournament, at the prestigious Discovery Sport Industry Awards held at the Sandton Convention Centre on Thursday, 13 February 2014.
The Discovery Sport Industry Awards recognises and rewards the best the sport business has to offer in marketing, PR, sponsorship, new media, publishing, advertising and design.
The MTN8 campaign took the honours for demonstrating the integration of a series of marketing disciplines, which included a balanced mixture of PR, advertising, sponsorship and digital media. Leading up to, during and post the tournament, the sponsorship campaign delivered engaging and innovative content, but most importantly, it over achieved on the client's return on investment and objectives.
