Design Indaba company news Wicked Pixels creates the prestigious Design Indaba 2012 campaignWicked Pixels has been selected by The Jupiter Drawing Room Cape Town to produce the entire campaign for one of the world's premier design events, the Design Indaba Conference 2012, held annually in Cape Town.
Directed by Craig Wessels, with creative direction from Wicked's Gavin Coetzee, their work for the event includes TV, print and the Conference speaker titles. Both live action and motion design was employed in the production. Wicked Pixels is the only local production company to specialise in directing work that integrates live action and CGI. They house their own directors, designers and animation studios, in both Cape Town and Johannesburg, and are represented by visual effects powerhouse, Joyrider Films in the UK an US. The Jupiter team was headed by Creative Director, Design, Joanne Thomas, Group Head, Creative, Lucas van Vuuren, Dale Winton, Annabel Slingsby, Alex Hayn, Client Service, Masha Roginsky and produced by TV Producer, Isabella de Villiers.
