Gabriel celebrates a decade with rAge

5 Oct 2012 11:37Submit a commentBizLike
It's double digits for Samantha Gabriel this year: in a few days time, the exhibition she's helped grow from infancy turns 10.

The director and owner of guest-experience agency LOGIC, Gabriel has been the event organiser of NAG magazine's gaming expo, rAge, since the show's inception in 2002.

Today rAge is Africa's biggest technology and video gaming exhibition, and one of South Africa's fastest-growing exhibitions. Last year's event saw a 29% increase in feet through the door, making it the most successful to date.

rAge isn't the only successful event to which Gabriel's name has been linked. She has an impressive track-record in the eventing industry, having project-managed the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa opening and closing ceremonies, the 52nd ANC National Conference in Polokwane, and the 2009 Confederations Cup opening and closing ceremonies, to name a few.

And come this weekend, Gabriel and LOGIC will be drawing on this considerable experience to ensure that rAge reaches its 10-year milestone without a hitch.

"I'm proud that LOGIC and I can once again be part of an event the magnitude of rAge," says Gabriel. "Congratulations to the entire rAge team on 10 years of excellence."

rAge takes place from 5-7 October 2012, at the Coca-Cola Dome in Gauteng.
