Grind Mobile Coffee, the original Mobile Coffee Experience, has, after many requests from current and potential clients, opened a branch in Cape Town.
Vernon le Roux, Marketing Manager of Grind Mobile Coffee is excited by the challenge. "Coffee is a culture in Cape Town so for us to see the demand grow to where it's viable for us to set up a Cape Town branch shows we're doing it right. It's an exciting time for us."
Grind has already hosted a number of events in Cape Town including a dual launch for
City Press on behalf of Agile Brand Solutions. Grind Mobile Coffee hosted simultaneous launches for
City Press, one in Johannesburg and one in Cape Town. "Running two sites at exactly the same time on opposite ends of South Africa gives us a chance to show our capacity. Having two-and-a-half hours to serve 400 cups per venue meant we were under pressure but we showed our ability," enthused Le Roux.
Grind has also secured a preferred supplier status with a few Cape Town sites as well as branched into a new arena, that of the high-end wedding. "It's not a market we really target," comments le Roux, "but our stylish white bars have become quite the feature at these weddings."
Grind's Cape Town branch is also firmly placed in the Cape Town exhibition calendar, already hosting B Braun's four-day expo stand at Renal Care Society Congress where Grind's Cape Town brewing crew served 1500 cups over the four-day period.
