South Africa is ready for 2010

Avusa Media appointed True Colour Events to manage the logistics and host 250 of their staff and clients where challenges were anticipated managing invitees from around the country - every aspect of logistics had to be meticulously planned from airport collections to welcoming guests at the Avusa Head Office in Rosebank.

As memorabilia to the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup, guests each received a Bafana Bafana jersey prior to the journey to Coca-Cola Park. Granting the fact that Bafana Bafana was not fortunate enough to participate in the highly anticipated final, they still made an astounding impression during the tournament and made us all proud to be South African.

Transporting the guests, four Sowetan-branded buses eased through the traffic to the drop off point as the electricity in the air was reaching an invigorating peak.

“The execution of the logistics around the hosting of Avusa Media for the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup Final proved to be watertight and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who was involved in making this event the accomplishment that it was,” said Adele le Grange of True Colour Events.

The organisation of the tournament can be hailed! Congratulations to the winners Brazil as well as to South Africans who have proved that we can only look forward to hosting more clients at the 2010 FIFA World Cup of Soccer if the standard of the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup is anything to go by.
