What a year!

An exciting milestone was the celebration of venues 10th Birthday this year. We decided to put together a comprehensive commemorative brochure showcasing what has been achieved over the last 10 years and also highlighting all of our annual events - a great tribute to all involved in making the Coca-Cola dome the success it is today!

The Coca-Cola Company renewed their naming rights sponsorship of the venue until 2014 which is definitely a highlight for 2008, and the venue was also awarded “Best Music Venue” by the Star Readers Choice Awards for the third consecutive year.

It was a busy start to 2008 with three international concerts in three consecutive days in January followed by the ever popular MPH Show which attracted about 40 000 avid motoring fans. So far this year the Coca-Cola dome has seen over 450 000 visitors through its doors - with over 20 exhibitions and events and 10 international concerts taking place.

The Coca-Cola dome also welcomed four new exhibitions over and above the 13 annual exhibitions already hosted at the venue - The International Fashion Sale, Good Food & Wine Show, Furnex Trade Show and WODAC (World of Dogs, Cats & Pets). There is still a lot lined up for the rest of this year with a number of exciting consumer exhibitions as well as the Lionel Richie and Rod Stewart concerts still to come.
