Kreate conceptualised the look and feel for the campaign. The touch points were based around a futuristic activation that coincides with what
Wii Fit was looking to achieve.
Kreate South Africa brought in new innovative gaming pods which had the interactive elements placed inside them to give you the feel of being in the game while also being in the privacy of your own home, but also gave outsiders the opportunity to see what
Wii Fit was all about - a great opportunity for anyone of all fitness and skill levels to be able to exercise regularly and enjoy it!
The aim was to educate the consumers on the positive effects that
Wii Fit has on the body as opposed to other gaming consoles and highlight the fact that the game is designed for the whole family.
Wii Fit is a combination of fitness and fun, designed for everyone, young and old. By playing
Wii Fit a little every day, you, your friends, and your family can work towards personal goals of better health and fitness. Kreate's professional team of Ambassadors were trained and briefed to deliver specific strap lines to consumers, which highlighted the attributes of
Wii Fit.
Kreate South Africa implemented the production, logistics and set-up of the campaign on a National basis as well as sourcing and production of all promotional items. The objectives of the campaign were to create brand awareness, educate and inform consumers about the product, the benefits of the product and promote sales of participating outlets. The original objective as above was specifically for the
Wii Fit.
The mechanics of the promotion were:
- Each mall had six brand ambassadors and Event Manager.
- Each Wii Fit Ambassador had their own working station to demonstrate and inform consumers of the product.
- Ambassadors were responsible for:
- Educating and demonstrating product to consumers.
- Handing out brochures to consumers.
- Communicating key brand elements to consumers
One of Kreate South Africa's main objectives was the measurement of the activations based on a number of factors, which are unique to Kreate South Africa's deliverables in terms of providing our clients with a return on investment. During and after the promotion there was a marked increase in the sales of
Wii Fit in the stores where it was stocked. The end result was a well-implemented “
EXPERIENTIAL” activation with a
Return on Investment, which was way above preconceived targets.
