It attributes this success to its 360-degree strategy, embarked upon energetically over the last three years and culminating in the launch of an e-commerce platform.

The latest ABC (Oct to Dec 2012) print circulation includes Sarie (93,473), Sarie Kos (50,496), Sarie Woon (27,783) and Sarie Bruid (14,395).

Its website, currently described as the biggest women's magazine website in South Africa and second only to the women's portal women24, also reached a record month in February 2013, driving 229,768 unique browsers and 968,963 page impressions (Nielsen).

"Multitude of platforms"

Sarie Kos has grown from a quarterly stand-alone to a bi-monthly brand in its own right. This magazine is currently the biggest consumer food magazine in the country (50,496 ABC Jul-Dec 2012).

Michélle van Breda, editor of brand Sarie, says, "Reaching so many consumers in 2012 is precisely what our brand strategy is all about. It gives us the unique opportunity to engage with our readers wherever they may be and across a multitude of platforms."
