Destiny celebrates five years of inspiring business and lifestyle content!

November marks the birthday month for South Africa's only women's business and lifestyle magazine, Destiny. To celebrate the occasion, 13 women grace the magazine's gatefold cover. Those featured include eight readers and five mentors:
  • Khanyi Dhlomo, Founding Editor of Destiny and Managing CEO of Ndalo Media;
  • Terry Volkwyn, CEO of Primedia Broadcasting;
  • Anele Mdoda, Highveld Stereo drive-time DJ;
  • Sonja de Bruyn Sebotsa, co-founder of investment boutique Identity Partners; and
  • Judi Nwokedi, Senior Executive for French nuclear firm Areva
In keeping with Destiny's strong mentorship focus, a round table discussion was held with the mentees, where the mentors offered sound business advice as well as how to balance work and home life.

"The fifth birthday issue of Destiny presents an opportunity not only to celebrate what has been achieved as a platform for beautiful, powerful and visionary women, in business and lifestyle, but also the relationships that have been forged with you, our readers," says Khanyi Dhlomo.

This issue of Destiny also has the much-anticipated Power of 40 Report sponsored by Mazda. This annual report showcases 40 women, under the age of 40, who are making waves in their respective industries, including fashion, science, aviation, education, film and entertainment. These women have taken their industries to greater heights and are a true example to all South African women.

For these and other stories, pick up the November 2012 birthday issue of Destiny Magazine, on sale now at leading retailers, or subscribe to the digital version at: www.destinyconnect.com.
