SA's favourite food magazine has shaken off the winter blues with a gorgeous makeover, and in line with Pick n Pay's retail strategy welcomes a beautifully shot newlook cover, showcasing the impressive variety of food and lifestyle content featured in the magazine. Fresh Living will continue to combine plenty of seasonal food inspiration with practical lifestyle tips, must-have info and, of course, mouthwatering recipes you can't live without.

While fresh food will always remain a focal point for the magazine, readers also get a peek into Pick n Pay's extensive product offering. Featuring travel, books, clothing and kitchenware, Pick n Pay has become a fantastic all-round retail resource. And with all the content produced locally, the magazine holds absolute relevance for YOU - cover to cover.

The new look mag will give special attention to the Pick n Pay Smart Shopper initiative, helping shoppers get the most value and benefits out of their Smart Shopper relationship.

July's Fresh Living is packed with winter warmer recipes, encouraging foodies to make those 'old-fashioned' favourites - from weeknight supper ideas with fresh root vegetable-themed meals, to delicious baked puddings. A special feature on Irish cooking will give readers step-by-step guides on how to make a mouth-watering Guinness and steak pie, Guinness and honey-glazed pork, soda bread, and a velvety Guinness chocolate cake.

With an eco-friendly conscience, Fresh Living is placing great emphasis on going 'green', moving more in line with Pick n Pay's sustainability focus. From the July issue, the magazine will be printed on triple green recycled paper and highlight the importance of local producers, whilst also allowing consumers to better understand exactly where their food is coming from.

Fresh Living is published by John Brown Media, a leading global content agency, launched in South Africa in 2007 to publish the first issue of the magazine.

The new look July issue of Pick n Pay Fresh Living will be available on shelves in all Pick n Pay stores from 20 June 2012 at a retail price of R15.95.
