In a first for the Virgin Active Sport Industry Awards, the decision on the winner of the coveted Award for Best TV Sport Commercial - last year presented by Heyneke Meyer and John Mitchell to Absa for the bank's popular Springbok Team of Millions advert - will be decided by the general public through an online vote held in January on SportsIllustrated.co.za.
