Law firms BCLR and ENS join forces

Law firms ENS (Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs) and Brink Cohen Le Roux (BCLR), specialising in Mine and Occupational Health and Safety (M&OHS), Employment Law and Litigation, have announced that all professional and other staff members of BCLR will be joining ENS with effect from 1 February 2013.

Willem le Roux and Pieter Colyn will join ENS as directors and will jointly head up ENS's M&OHS department. "We are privileged that they have chosen to join ENS," commented Michael Katz, chairman of ENS. "It is a widely held view in the mining world that BCLR has the pre-eminent M&OHS practice in the country and we believe that their arrival will make ENS the mining law firm of choice on the African continent."

Celeste Coles, an expert in M&OHS Law, will also join ENS as a director within the M&OHS department, along with all the other current members of the team. "We can see the synergies that exist between the two firms will be of immense benefit to our clients and believe this will set a new standard in terms of a one-stop-shop service to the mining sector", said Le Roux.

Prof. Peter (PAK) le Roux, a renowned expert in Labour and Employee Benefits Law, will join the Employment Law department of ENS as a consultant. Kirsty Simpson, together with her team, will join ENS's Litigation/Dispute Resolution department as a director, contributing valuable skills and strategic insight in Commercial Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
