GIBB scoops top prize in 2017 Top 500 Awards

The awards are an annual survey by Topco Media, which then publishes the rankings as a results index. This year’s eighth edition of the index was produced after surveying more than 4,000 candidate companies. To be identified as one of South Africa’s best companies in the Top 500 Awards, qualifying businesses must excel in three key spheres, namely financial performance, empowerment, as well as policy and accreditation.

“We pride ourselves on being a world-class, Africa-based solutions provider of infrastructure planning, design and delivery,” said GIBB Group CEO Richard Vries. “This award proves that our efforts are being recognised. We are humbled to be acknowledged in this manner.”

The Top 500 research methodology was designed in conjunction with the University of Cape Town’s Development Policy Research Unit. The rankings process culminates in a gala awards ceremony where finalists are recognised.
