“AGT Foods Africa stores, processes and distributes seeds, grains, pulses, flours, and spices to the food industry throughout South Africa. In Cape Town alone, we distribute over 200 metric tonnes of product per month to wholesalers and factories,” said Wendy Worthington, sales manager, AGT Foods Africa, Cape Town at the official opening on 1 September 2017.

“We recently received FSSC22000 Food Safety accreditation at our new facility. This certification conforms to our Food Safety Management policy. We can also proudly say all of our products are NON-GMO,” added Wendy.

The new modern warehouse is 2,308m² in size, of which over 2,000m² is warehousing space. Golf Air Park is a brand-new business park with 24-hour security located next to Cape Town International Airport and in close proximity to transport infrastructure.

“Our aim is to become the top supplier of all dry food goods in the Western Cape,” concluded Wendy.
