The who's who of celebrities, brands and some of South Africa's most influential kids made their way to the Monte Casino Il Grande Theatre & Lounge on Thursday 31 May to witness the announcement of the country's Coolest Brands.

With entertainment provided by Liquideep (Coolest Local Music Star), and the gorgeous Bonang Matheba as MC, the evening got to an amazing start, as the ceremony got underway.
Big winners of the evening included BlackBerry (Coolest Brand Overall, Coolest Cellphone, Coolest Hi-tech Gadget), BMW (Coolest Motor Vehicle, Coolest Corporate Citizen), Nike (Coolest Fashion and/or Accessory Store and Coolest Sport Store, Coolest Brand Slogan), DStv's Trace (Coolest TV Music Channel, Coolest TV Channel) and Trevor Noah in the personality brands category (Coolest Local Comedian, Coolest Local Celebrity, Coolest Local Male Screen Star).
