AgencyCentral.co.za offers recruitment agencies free listings on the site, with the option of upgrading to two distinct packages depending on their budget. Market research findings show that many agents have websites that they would like to use as job portals. AgencyCentral.co.za seeks to be the link to this resource by listing agents by province and city and further by speciality.

Web designer, Gerry Pelser, says: “It's a brilliant idea especially since there are many agencies specialising in different areas. The big agencies may not be specialised enough, with this directory a financial consultant or an IT technician can look for an agency within their industry of interest.”

Agents may advertise their companies on AgencyCentral.co.za choosing from various formats available from button to banner adverts. Clients can also post their press releases on the site.

The directory is the brainchild of entrepreneur, Pulane Ditlhake, a former recruiter with six years hands-on experience in various areas of Human Resources. Ditlhake is a Psychology and Human Resources graduate from Wits University. She started off her business as a CV Writer in 2002 and expanded it to include Interview Coaching. By the end of 2007 she had added Training and Development at High Schools to the company service offering as part of the Social Responsibility portfolio. In 2008 Ditlhake felt the time was right to venture into recruitment and that is when she noticed the gap in the market for an industry specific directory. Market research was conducted and sixty percent of the agents polled agreed that there was a need for such a directory.
