Rapid Surveys: Full-service research in four hours - an industry-first by Columinate

1 Feb 2013 06:505 commentsBizLike
There is an important meeting around the corner. In the boardroom there will be questions. You need the facts, but you can't wait a week, let alone a month for the results.
Your CEO, marketing team or strategists need urgent answers, but you've already submitted your omnibus and tracker questions, and there is no more time - let alone the budget - to launch an ad hoc project for these questions alone. They'll have to go on intuition and their gut feel...

These scenarios are familiar to us all. But we have a solution.

Columinate's Rapid Surveys© will allow you to have the answers within a few hours of the questions being asked. What's more, you won't get the answers in a raw data file, Excel table or some other format that still needs reworking - you will receive a detailed PowerPoint report that is ready to be presented, so you can make that decision based on fact, guide that strategy or impress those sitting in the boardroom.

It's simple:
  • You have a choice of 5 or 10 questions. There's no need to ask about demographics as we'll include those for you anyway.
  • We will give you a sample of n = 400.
  • We make your questions research-friendly, you sign them off.
  • From the moment we have sign-off, you can start the countdown. Within 4 hours you will have your report in your inbox.
In summary, that's 5 or 10 questions, 400 participants, and data in a very visually appealing format within 4 hours.

Many companies have free online tools at their disposal but not everyone has the time, expertise or resources to make this tool work efficiently for them. We've combined the speed and efficiency of online research with our market research expertise to ensure you get quick but not dirty results.

The 1st of March will see the official Rapid Surveys© hotline opening - yes, there will even be a hotline - for you to call us (or email, text, Facebook or Tweet) with your questions. You can choose whichever contact method you find faster. In the meantime, we are offering you the opportunity to try out the service. Put our speed to the test.

Columinate has a reputation for relevant innovation in the marketing research industry. Rapid Surveys© follows on our other industry-firsts, such as conducting the first MROC (Market Research Online Community) in South Africa.

How shabby can research become just for the sake of quick results!!!! No indication in this article of the methodology? Posted on 4 Feb 2013 22:19

Hi Danie, thanks for your comment and question. Rapid Surveys is a quantitative online panel survey service with a profiled group of consumers. We have several case studies and testimonials from clients who have used this service.

But don't take my (or our client's) word for it - get in touch with me and I will have our team provide you with a free Rapid Survey. No charge. After you have tried it please feel free to update your opinion on this forum.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks Henk but I still think this was poor journalism not informing the readers how the research is done. All it states is 5 or 10 questions, a sample of n=400, 4 hours for your report. Nowhere did it say that it is a panel, how the panel was recruited, the characteristics / demographics of the panel and the methodology used (cell phones?) to collect the data. This article should have informed the readers about these crucial aspects of this research methodology. To me it seems like an advertorial. Once again, poor journalism! Posted on 6 Feb 2013 18:00

Hi Henk, In the interest of good market research practice and to do market research and marketing industries justice, I think it is vital that these facts are made known here (in public) and not only to individuals as and when they ask for it. Transparency would be appreciated by all people in our industries. Posted on 7 Feb 2013 14:20
