SAP acknowledges EOH at Partner Awards for Africa

SAP announced the recipients of the 2012 SAP Partner Awards for Africa at an awards ceremony recently. Listed technology group EOH scooped three of the top ten awards.

Its awards are 'Best SAP Large Enterprises System Integrator of the Year', the 'SAP MD's Special Award' in support of its service excellence in helping customers realise best value from their investment in SAP and the company's SAP Services sales executive, Mike Hartman, won 'Sales person of the Year'.

EOH general manager Kirtan Sita says the awards recognise partners who have achieved excellence in planning and executing their SAP projects and programs; delivering significant benefits to their organisations.

"The company was nominated six times in the ten key categories and we won three awards."

SAP Africa's MD Pfungwa Serima says the awards acknowledge and salute the successes of business partners that work with the company to deliver exceptional customer service, great partner value and continue to embrace its new technology strategies. The criteria for the awards assessed partners' year-on-year revenue growth, number of net new customers, number of customers sold to and customer references and customer enablement.

Award winners from partner organisations that have been successful in developing great partnerships across the continent, as partner business grew more than 206%, with 55 new partners coming on board in the last year.

"Helping Africa Grow" is the theme within SAP Africa this year, which underpins its ambition and focus on global and local growth beyond excellence. It calls partners to embrace the new opportunities that are emerging within the partner network and the market.
