JD Group sees H1 HEPS from continuing operations between 50% and 60% higher

JD Group's (JDG) headline earnings per share (HEPS) from continuing operations for the six months ended December 2014 will be between 67.7c and 72.2c per share from 45.1c in the year-earlier period‚ the company said on Tuesday, 24 February 2015.

This represented and an increase of between 50% and 60%‚ it said.

The interim results will be published on or about 2 March.

At 10.43am‚ after the release of the positive trading statement‚ the counter was 3.56% firmer at R25.89‚ valuing the company at almost R7bn.
